Scandal At WorldCom?

Already plagued by concerns about the size of its external debt, WorldCom Inc, America's number two long-distance phone company, appears to be headed for further trouble.

The company recently suspended 3 employees and it is alleged to have frozen the commissions of up to 12 others. The Wall Street Journal reports that this results from an ongoing internal investigation into an order-booking scandal that may have over-inflated sales commission in three branch offices.
