Enron Employees Suffer No Stigma

Former employees of Houston bankrupt corporation Enron are not experiencing problems finding alternative employment.

Many former Enron employees were concerned that they would be seen as guilty by association by having worked for the corporation, but early evidence suggests that this is not the case.

Despite the problems now associated with the failed energy giant and the revelations of dare-doing and alleged wrong-doing, Enron had a reputation of hiring the best and rival firms are keen to capitalize by hiring former Enron employees.

Investment bank Barclays Capital have hired 25 former energy traders and rival energy concern Dynegy have also taken on former Enron staff. All over the City, ex-Enron staff are showing up in new employment, including former European COO Paul Chivers who is believed to have gone back to his project finance roots to work for Credit Agricole Indosuez in Paris.
