Andersen Drops Client!

TheStreet.com's co-founder and board member James Cranmer criticized Andersen for it's role in the Enron affair. When the company refused to take back the remarks, Andersen advised the company that it would no longer be it's auditor.

In what is quite a turn up for the books, as clients have been leaving Andersen in droves in the aftermath of the Enron affair, Andersen is believed to have taken the action due to 'inappropriate' comments made about the firm.

Enrst & Young are the new company auditors.

Andersen have not commented on the matter.
