Junk Bond Defaults Fall

Junk-bond defaults fell in February for the first time in 19 months.

Junk-rated companies worldwide defaulted at an annual percentage rate of 10.5 in February, down marginally 0.2% in January. 16 companies defaulted on $11bn of debt last month.

Moody's are forecasting the decline will be down to 7.4% at the year end.
