Not Guilty Plea By Andersen

Accounting firm Arthur Andersen entered a not guilty plea last week to a charge of obstruction of justice in connection with work the firm undertook with failed energy giant Enron.

If the firm are convicted of the felony charge it faces up to 5 years probation and a fine of up to £350,000.

The costs are more heavy, however, in the court of public opinion and clients continue to ditch the firm in droves.
