The croc, Kosmas, lives in an aquarium on the site. He was brought to Greece by a collector of exotic reptiles.
Authorities are currently looking for an appropriate place to resettle him. Locals are determined that he will not be relocated too far away from his old home.

In a report filed for the BBC, organisers of the 2004 Olympics in Athens have confirmed that they will need to evict a nine foot crocodile so that work can commence on what will become the Games' sailing venue.
