Anger At £1m Men At The Pru

According to the Prudential's annual report, three executive directors received more that £1m in salary, bonuses and benefits last year and not everyone is happy.

Group chief executive Jonathan Bloomer received just over £1m, while directors Michael McLintock and Mark Tucker made £1.4m and £1.6m respectively.

As expected, unions have reacted with fury at the news. Roger Lyons, general secretary of Amicus, the union for skilled and profesional people, said that 'boardroom greed has gone crazy.'
