Weekly Italian magazine 'Il Mondo' published an article last week about Fondiaria which, claims JP Morgan, contained unspecified 'false statements'. The bank released a statement which confirmed that it had asked its lawyers to 'examine all possible steps to protect its rights.'

Reuters reports that JP Morgan is considering its options after a magazine published 'false statements' about the investment bank in connection with its acquisition of a stake in Italian insurer Fondiaria.
