Enron Staff Doing Little

The New York Times reports that some Enron executives have admitted to arriving late in to the office each morning and leave promptly at 5pm each day.

The US paper reports that the sense of urgency appears to have gone from a company that was considered to be one of the World's leading businesses. Bankruptcy and numerous federal investigations appear to have knocked the heart out of the company.

Enron still has 23,000 employees across the globe and new CEO, Stephen Cooper, would still like to salvage something from the decaying carcass.
