£2m Blunder At Morgan Stanley

Money Telegragh has reported that Morgan Stanley is sitting on a loss of £2m after a muck-up on a share sale on Friday.

The Telegraph reports that the firm was selling a stake in BSkyB owned by British Telecom. The sale was undertaken by Morgan Stanley and, according to an unknown source 'with knowledge of the situation', it was mishandled.

BSkyB's shares fell 28p on Friday and the Telegraph stated that the bungled share sale somehow contributed to the fall.

Morgan Stanley has not commented on the matter.
