Kirch claims that Breuer caused his empire to fall into insolvency when he called into question the financial status of the group during an interview at the recent World Economic Forum in New York. Kirch claims that his refinancing negotiations were hindered by what Breuer said and is suing for E100m in damages.
Media Tycoon To Sue Deutsche Chief
BBC News reports that Leo Kirch, the 75 year old founder of KirchMedia, is to sue Deutsche Bank's chief Rolf Breuer for 'precipitating the collapse of his media empire.'
