Deutsche, Gartmore, Invesco Face Loss

Bloomberg reports that Deutsche Asset Management, Gartmore Investment Management and Invesco may lose three UK pension contracts with funds totalling £880bn.

North Yorkshire County Council, with £170m of funds currently managed by Invesco and West Sussex, whose £400m pension fund is currently managed by Deutsche, are both looking to put the contracts out to tender. East Sussex is thought to be reviewing its £308m contract, which is partly managed by Gartmore.
The North Yorkshire authority declined to comment on Invesco's performance, although West Sussex confirmed that Deutsche had 'just about' met its performance targets in the four years it has been managing the fund.
