Investment Bank League Tables

With the end of the first half of the year, league tables are now being compiled for banks in a variety of geographical locations and across a number of different product areas. Here we take a look a three recent sets of tables.

Following are this year's 10 biggest underwriters of dollar-denominated investment-grade corporate debt sold in the US according to Bloomberg data.

The most striking feature of this table is that Merrill Lynch has fallen from second to eighth place.

Morgan Stanley $523m

Finally, there follows the top 10 Asian bond underwriting table for the first half on the year according to Bloomberg data. Goldman Sachs, which sold in excess of $2.4bn in global bonds for Asian clients last year, hasn't done a single deal this year so far.
