Here's a note of 13 famous feuds.

 1. Donald Trump vs Barack Obama

Barack Obama kept quiet as the Donald helped fuel 'birther' conspiracy theories. But Obama seemed to get the last laugh when, right after releasing his long-form birth certificate, he lampooned Trump at this year's White House correspondents' dinner.

'Now he can get to focusing on the issues that matter', the President said - 'Like, did we fake the moon landing ? What really happened at Roswell ? And where are Biggie and Tupac ?'

2. Charlie Sheen vs Two And A Half Men series creator Chuck Lorre

The actor allegedly branded Lorre, the creator of his hit sitcom, a 'stupid, stupid little man and a p**sy punk' for suspending filming of the show in January to allow the star to deal with his substance abuse issues in rehab. Following the vicious rant, it was announced there would be no more Two and a Half Men this season - and Sheen retaliated by vowing to sue Lorre for axing the shoot.

3. Jeremy Clarkson vs George Michael

George Michael and Jeremy Clarkson were embroiled in a public feud via twitter, after Clarkson made comments about Michael on his Top Gear Show.  George Michael branded Jeremy Clarkson 'pig-ugly' and 'homophobic' after the presenter made a joke about the Wham! frontman’s sexual habits on the show.

4. Lady Gaga v Katy Perry

After Lady Gaga's video for Alejandro was released, Katy Perry was straight on Twitter giving Gaga what
for. 'Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke', she said.

5. Lord Sugar v Kirstie Allsop

When the property guru claimed Lord Sugar was 'shockingly uncharitable' and rude to his staff on
Celebrity Apprentice, which Kirstie featured on in 2008, Lord Sugar allegedly called Kirstie 'a lying cow', among other things.

6. Al Capone vs George 'Bugs' Moran

Members of Capone’s gang cap off a Chicago turf war by machine-gunning six members of Moran’s crew (plus a seventh victim, who was not a crew member) on Valentine’s Day 1929. Capone, conveniently on vacation in Florida, was never charged.

7. Sharon Osbourne vs Danny Minogue

After Danni Minogue was hired for the X- Factor, Sharon Osbourne allegedly labelled her Aussie rival 'f***ing useless'.  She also said: 'I didn’t hate her because hatred is very close to love and takes a lot of emotion and I don’t have that time for her, she was like an insect, a mosquito that wouldn’t go away'. Ouch!

8. Michael Jackson vs Paul McCartney

This feud was over the Beatles music catalogue. Jackson and McCartney were friends and McCartney even gave Michael some financial advise about copyright to music. The Beatles catalogue went up for auction and the two bidders were, yep, Jackson and McCartney. Jackson came out on top when his bid of $47m. McCartney he had been betrayed.

9. Sarah Palin vs. PETA

Palin's exchange with PETA over hunting was a classic.  Animal rights activist group PETA called Palin out after she shot a caribou on her TLC show, Sarah Palin's Alaska. Calling her a witless bully and saying she killed the animal for political gain. Sarah Palin responded to the statement: 'We eat, therefore we hunt - and I am thankful that I get to feed my kids organic food'.

10. Mel Gibson vs. Oksana Grigorieva

Mel Gibson and his estranged baby mama were allegedly the subject of three police probes - over her alleged extortion, his alleged domestic violence, and their daughter's custody.

11. Chef Gordan Ramsay vs his father in law

Ramsay fired his father in law Chris Hutcheson as Chief Executive of his restaurant empire. Hutcheson then launched a blistering attack on the celebrity chef and warned that he knew ‘where the bodies are buried’.

12. Eduardo Saverin vs CEO Mark Zuckerberg

The pair were involved in a court battle over money and the the founding of Facebook.

13. The Gucci Family

Founded in a saddlery in Florence by Guccio Gucci in 1906, his sons, Aldo and Rodolfo later took over the company, growing it exponentially. But financial scandals and family in-fighting led to considerable adverse publicity over the years. Split by the bitter fights for control of their high-fashion retail empire, Gucci family members eventually sold nearly a 50 percent interest in Guccio Gucci S.p.A. to a Middle Eastern Investment company.

Five of the Best

Things we love, things we want, things we want to do, and things we think are just cool, interesting, or at least noteworthy.

  1. An idea for your next rendezvous in Paris (or crazy weekend with friends): a private cruise in a motorboat for three hours of Champagne-fueled romance (or fun).
  2. While we are rarely ones to turn down a charitable opportunity, how about taking that pile of spring cleaning cast-offs to a car boot sale? We're pretty sure you could get a new handbag out of the proceeds...
  3. We're loving this bold, striped tie from Paul Stuart. The meek need not click.
  4. The coolest personalised cufflinks around are these. They include words, names or places, which run off the surface creating a rather ambiguous stream of letters. (And let's face it: a bit of mystery never hurt anyone.)
  5. We're carnivores who love a deal, so we'll be printing out this voucher, then visiting Giraffe for 2-for-1 vegetarian entrees during National Vegetarian Week (21-25 May).
