Gifts for the Naughty (and Nice)

Christmas is sneaking up on us one more. What gifts are you buying this year? Lucky for you, dear reader, cheekily checking out the stores is one of my many pastimes.

To start with, we have the lavender room's Vintage Rose Pyjamas to keep you warm through the long winter nights. A more extravagant stocking filler for your gal would be the Ralph Lauren Diamond Stirrup watch, or for the more modest, the slim fit Big Pony Polo in black, the Suede Deco Lock Clutch, or the Black Label sleeveless cashmere dress. For the men out there, you have the Ralph Lauren wool rugby striped scarf, the leather brass pheasant belt and the cashmere lined leather gloves.

For fun boy toys we have the new MacBook Air out on the shelves, or the Kindle Fire (in the States and available on Amazon). Not a Ferrari, but we all know those don’t fit into stockings, unless they’re a Corgi toy car collectable. (For those of you who are getting a Ferrari for Christmas, you clearly have far too big expectations about your bonus this year.)

For some sexy guy scents to add to the collection, we have Emporio Armani Diamonds (for a saucy sizzler), Aramis (for all a man is) and Diesel Only the Brave (for the more rough and ready of you out there).

For a sensual sensation, you have Golden Delicious by DNKY, which will leave you smelling golden whilst he’s getting a little fruity with you, Jimmy Choo for those of you who can't get enough of his shoe hits, and Parisienne for a serious continental sensation.

Saucy smalls are also in order with all-time favorite Myla. For a little fun, we have the Marlene seductive sleepwear and smalls in ink and black or a ruby red, the Gail chemise in a sensational silk, the delectable Darcy feather bustle briefs in LA rose, ruby or black and the Cherie selection of smalls in black.

The Calvin Klein shop is a safe bet for him if you’re a little stuck; however, make sure you get the size right or you could leave him feeling a little small...

So with that, have a saucy Christmas, and let’s hope you don’t get a lump of coal in your stocking for being too naughty this year.

Five of the Best

Things we love, things we want, things we want to do, and things we think are just cool, interesting, or at least noteworthy.

  1. An idea for your next rendezvous in Paris (or crazy weekend with friends): a private cruise in a motorboat for three hours of Champagne-fueled romance (or fun).
  2. While we are rarely ones to turn down a charitable opportunity, how about taking that pile of spring cleaning cast-offs to a car boot sale? We're pretty sure you could get a new handbag out of the proceeds...
  3. We're loving this bold, striped tie from Paul Stuart. The meek need not click.
  4. The coolest personalised cufflinks around are these. They include words, names or places, which run off the surface creating a rather ambiguous stream of letters. (And let's face it: a bit of mystery never hurt anyone.)
  5. We're carnivores who love a deal, so we'll be printing out this voucher, then visiting Giraffe for 2-for-1 vegetarian entrees during National Vegetarian Week (21-25 May).
