BNY Mellon Appoints Head Of EMEA Client Management

BNY Mellon has announced the appointment of Ian Stewart as head of Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Client Management, a role previously held by Hani Kablawi, who has been appointed Head of EMEA Asset Servicing for BNY Mellon*.

Reporting to Jim Palermo, Vice Chairman and CEO of Global Client Management, Stewart continues in his role as head of North America Client Management. 

In Stewart’s capacity as head of EMEA Client Management, he will oversee country management and strategic clients across the EMEA region. As head of Client Management for North America, he is responsible for client relationships within the following groups reporting to him: Banks and Broker Dealers, Investment Managers, Insurance companies, Corporates, Real Estate, Syndications, Not-for-Profits, Alliance Program, Federal and State Governments.

Palermo said, 'Ian’s leadership will ensure our company continues to deliver quality service to our clients and a deep understanding of their needs. Bringing the majority of our global client management functions together under Ian ensures collaboration and sharing of best practices, and demonstrates the strength of our management team'.
