Ravel Morrison to be kicked out the Old Trafford back door

The Manchester United youngster is off to West Ham United according to today's papers...

It looks like Sir Alex Ferguson is willing to write off the young teenager dubbed Manchester United's brightest talent since Paul Scholes.

High praise for a teenager who has made just three first time appearances, one of which lasted only 60 seconds.

Morrison is an undoubted talent, but if rumours are true about him skipping training, then you can't blame United for washing their hands of him.

You can also understand his frustration - being given all these accolades and not given a platform to further show what he can do, but it looks like he has only shot himself in the foot.

A move to West Ham could suit all parties, under Sam Allardyce he has a manager who has dealt with all sorts of characters in his time, and experienced hands such as Kevin Nolan give him a few pointers in becoming a model professional.

United will be relieved that he is not hanging around to join rival clubs Manchester City or Arsenal in the summer, or even Newcastle who had a bid rejected.

The only concern has to be if Morrison has got into off-field scrapes so close to home, what will happen when he finds himself in London's East End?!

It would be good for English football if Morrison fulfils his talent, United should insert a binding buy-back clause into the deal in case he does.
