Harrow-born Marvin Sordell was a transfer deadline day signing for the Trotters, and came off the bench in their 2-0 defeat to Norwich in midweek. He could get more of a chance to show what he can do this weekend...
1) Sordell was a graduate from Watford's youth team after initially being picked up by Fulham, and made his debut in August 2009. He scored his first goal 10 days later in a League Cup defeat to Sheffield United.
2) Aged 20, he currently plays for England's under-21 side managed by Stuart Pearce, where he has scored two goals in six games.
3) Now a striker, it was not always that way for Sordell. He began in goal for his youth side, before getting a chance up front and bagging a hat-trick. It seems he has never looked back.
4) He joins fellow Watford striker partner Danny Graham in making the step up to the Premier League, who is now at Swansea. The pair played together at Watford last season.
5) Sordell has scored 10 goals in the Championship so far this season, and netted 27 goals for Watford in total.
How good do you think Sordell can become? Can he one day be a full international?
