He is succeeding Stefan Baron (64) who is retiring on May 31, 2012, as planned. Strauss will join Deutsche Bank on March 1, 2012, in order to prepare for the future role.
Michael Golden (39), currently Deputy Head of Group Press, will serve as Deputy Global Head of Communications & CSR, effective June 1, 2012.
Both will be based at the Bank’s corporate headquarters in Frankfurt.
Thorsten Strauss, Bertelsmann AG’s former head of Corporate Communications, has been appointed Deutsche Bank’s new Global Head of Communications & CSR, effective June 1, 2012.
