We talked about the LA Clippers losing some much-needed momentum of late, well last night provided the perfect remedy.
They traveled to conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder and won.
The turning point was late in the game, when All Star Chris Paul danced through the Thunder defence to make a game-winning drive.
It was the sort of moment that would normally have the fans going wild, except as it was on the road in Oklahoma, the stadium fell to eerie silence.
In the grand scheme of things the defeat does not damage the Thunder too much (42-16), as second place San Antonio Spurs (40-16) lost to the LA Lakers.
The Lakers remain in third (37-22) ahead of fourth place Clippers (35-23) who edge the Memphis Grizzlies into fifth, who defeated them early in the week.
Second place Spurs face the Grizzlies tonight in what should he a hotly contested match-up.
Speaking of which, there is a huge night in the East tonight, with the Bulls in 1st squaring off against the Heat who lie in 2nd.
The Bulls won the last clash, but both are coming off defeats, the Knicks beating the Bulls in midweek and Heat falling to the Celtics.
Make sure you watch Chris Paul's game-winning drive, below.
