A Recession Busting Beauty Tip

posted: 1 year ago

Even if you're not much for DIY (or watching your money), you'll love this super simple recipe for a salt scrub.

Thanks to lovely ladies Lauren Conrad, Kristin Ess and Amy Nadine at The Beauty Department, we are now able to keep our skin soft and smelling fresh without leaving any kind of dent in our bank accounts.

Salt Scrub

The great thing about this lemon salt scrub is that you probably have most, if not all, of the ingredients in your kitchen cupboards already. All you will need is five tablespoons of sea salt, one tablespoon of olive oil and one lemon. Cover all of the salt with the olive oil (this will prevent the lemon being absorbed into the salt), then mix in the juice of the lemon and get scrubbing. Simple!

Let us know if you try this.
