Q - How long have you been in the industry, and what is your current job title ?
A - 'I have worked in the industry for five years.
I joined Credit Suisse as a graduate and was fortunate to learn a lot through the rotation program offered here. I am currently in the Operations support area and am responsible for maintaining relationships for key clients who transact with the firm'.
Q - Did you have a mentor and, if so, who ?
A – No, l didn’t have a mentor, but l certainly had a handful of people who were instrumental in assisting me to where l am today
Q - Are you by nature a pessimist or an optimist ?
A - I am an optimist. I have to be, as athletics is very unpredictable.
Q - Which business leader do you admire the most and why ?
A – I admire Warren Buffet. He is a business leader who follows his instincts and makes sound investments.
Q - What's the biggest lesson you have learned in your career to date ?
A – I have learnt being patient will always pay off. I have had to deal with many disappointments and bad injuries. However l am now working towards something special - the 2012 Olympics.
Q - What's your favorite business quotation or life motto ?
A - (a) 'Win the battles you need to win' and (b) 'If you don’t ask, you don’t get'.
