Bank Workers Charity

The Bank Workers Charity (BWC) provides information, advice and financial support for people working in the banking community and their families in the areas of home, wellbeing and money.

This includes issues around housing, illness, stress, or money worries - the charity's aim is to help people for the long term. Take a look at how BWC can help here

BWC offer services through in-house client advisors as well as a case worker to support clients with more in-depth issues. The charity also has some great online tools such as Beating Stress Interactive and i-reslience tool, along with lots of information and advice.

Working with experts

Not only do clients benefit from an in-house team, but the charity has also established partnerships with the National Autistic Society, Leonard Cheshire Disability and Arthritis Care to offer independent and confidential information, advice and guidance.

Tony, a BWC client says: 'When I first got in touch with BWC I was struggling to find a way to build a reasonable life for myself. With encouragement and the right financial help, I have regained confidence and am about to begin a new career in which I believe I will flourish. I had, until my period of difficulty, lived a useful and constructive life, and the BWC have given me help to regain this'.
