1) Rodriguez turns 21 in a fortnight's time, and has played for Porto since 2010, signing from Argentine side Banfield.
2) During his time at Banfield he helped the club win their first ever Argentine championship, scoring in the deciding game.
3) Rodriguez is a winger who plays predominantly on the left side. He scored a hat-trick in the Portuguese Cup Final this season in a 6-2 win over Vitor Guimares.
4) In total this season he scored 13 times in 20 league starts, also providing eight assists.
5) He scored his first international goal for Colombia earlier this month in a 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Peru.
