4) He became a hate figure at Hull City after breaking Carl Fagan's leg in a needless 90th minute challenge, with the game already lost, while playing for Newcastle and was sent off for his actions.
5) His recent wedding made national news when trouble at the £40,000 caused the police to be called out twice after an alleged 'mass brawl'.
