Tottenham beating Liverpool and Swansea to the signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson may just prove to be one of the coups of the summer.
During his loan move at Swansea he scored 7 times in 17 starts, one of which was a stunning 25-yard-strike past Brad Friedel at White Hart Lane.
He continued his goalscoring form in his new club's first pre-season game, netting a well taken goal in a friendly win against Stevenage, displaying nifty feet and more clinical finishing.
If his debut season at White Hart Lane is a success, he can provide a real bonus for Villas-Boas side, and he will fancy his chances of his goal tally reaching double figures.
