Of course, I would. Private jets, Rolls-Royce automobiles, exotic Italian cars. But it's been a decade since I saw a copy, and I kind of assumed it had fallen off the radar. Apparently I was wrong.
The monthly publication, hilariously and appropriately, is headquartered in Malibu. Last year, the circulation was 100K, which means that someone is picking it up.
The founder, whose name was Robert, started the magazine in 1965 as a newsletter called Twentieth Century Confederates, in order to advertise his collection of Rolls-Royces and Civil War memorabilia.
He sold the magazine in 1983, and in 2002, it was sold again for $150 million.
Since then, it has featured in a number of rap songs from all of the main guys: Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Kanye West, and Common, among others. (So that's who's reading the magazine!)
Of course, it's possible I should start reading it again. Check out these fabulous purple loafers from Italian brand Leffot. And this new Stockholm hotel looks like the ideal place to stay. Did I know about these before? I did not. And though my estate features neither a private jet nor a Rolls-Royce, it might be worth checking in from time to time.
