If Sergio Aguero was just getting started in the Premier League last season, then the league's defences should start fretting.
He has had a full summer's rest, and seems to be flying in pre-season. He netted the opener in Manchester City's 3-1 win over a Malaysia XI.
The rejuvenated Carlos Tevez scored the second, while Adam Johnson bagged the third. The English winger is now aiming to stay at the Etihad and fight for his place despite being linked with a move away earlier in the transfer window.
Aguero's goal was a superb one. We are used to seeing his Argentine compatriot Lionel Messi score goals of this quality on a regular basis; the Telegraph even compared it to the artistry of his father-in-law Diego Maradona.
If he can bring this sort of showmanship to his second season in England, we are looking forward to seeing it.
