Theo Walcott is the big talking point today, and has been trending globally on Twitter after it was reported that Arsenal are considering selling him off after talks over a new contract again stalled. The Telegraph claim he has in fact rejected the Gunners' £75,000 a week offer. While Arsenal have not completely given up on talking him round, they are reportedly prepared to consider offers upwards of £11 million, with Liverpool, and Manchester City interested, while Chelsea were thought to be in the hunt prior to signing Victor Moses.
In-demand Belgian Moussa Dembele looks set to seal a switch to Tottenham today from Fulham. A £15 million offer was accepted by Fulham last night, with Spurs beating off interest from Manchester United for his signature. He looks set to be the first of several incoming and outgoings at the club in the post-Luka Modric era. Could his arrival lead to Rafael van der Vaart's exit? The Guardian maintain it is very possible, with the player thought to be keen on a return to the Bundesliga with Hamburg, who are bidding around £10 million for his services.
The Mirror maintain Jermain Defoe could be on his way out of Spurs, with several clubs interested, and Alan Dzagoev could be arriving from CSKA Moscow. While the Mail report Aaron Lennon's future is in doubt at White Hart Lane as the club are closing in on the loan addition of Ibrahim Afellay.
Fulham are already spending the transfer money, with Kieran Richardson set to be the first through the door. The winger has been keen to quit Sunderland and begin a new chapter in his career returning to London and is likely to cost just £2 million. The Mail also report they want to sign Bafetimbi Gomis from Lyon for £6.5 million.
Bad news for Rob Green, with QPR agreeing terms with Inter Milan's Champions League winning goalkeeper Julio Cesar. The Brazilian said he is excited about the switch and it is expected to be done and dusted within 24 hours.
Continuing with QPR, they are interested in signing Argentine full-back Cristian Ansaldi from Rubin Kazan, report The Sun. However they will face competition for the 25-year-old from West Brom.
And finally, Southampton have signed Zambia international striker Emanuel Mayuka from Swiss side Young Boys Berne, and hope he will be registered in time to feature against Manchester United on Sunday.
