European champions Chelsea will begin the defence of their trophy in Group E, a group that includes Shakhtar Donetsk, Italian champions Juventus and Champions League newcomers, Nordsjaelland from Denmark. Providing he is not signed by Spurs in the next 24 hours, Chelsea will come face to face with their one time target Willian for Shakhtar, while there are even reports in the Italian press that Juventus could go in for Didier Drogba as his move to China runs the risk of turning sour, which would be a remarkable turn of events.

The Israeli spent last season on loan at Arsenal and is said to be yet again surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
