Theo Walcott is not ‘obsessed by money’ according to Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger. His claims come in light of the recent dispute between the club and the player in which it was reported that Arsenal were offering the 23 year old Englishman a contract worth £75,000-a-week but the player himself demanded closer to £100,000. When asked about the situation, Wenger had this to say: ‘contrary to what some media write he is not obsessed by money, there is just a little difference we hope we can, at some stage, find an agreement with. That's it basically.’
Liverpool have agreed a fee with Bayer Leverkusen for the highly rated German striker, Samed Yesil. The 18-year-old came to prominence with his performances at the Under-17 World Cup last year where he scored six goals.
