The following was posted from a Stoke supporter: "Speaking as a die hard Stoke fan I want to say firstly I have never booed Ramsay though I love Wenger baiting! When the incident happened between Ramsey and Shawcross 99.9% of Stoke fans were very sympathetic and only wished him well.
What Arsenal fans have been told and what we've been told since varies greatly, as for whats happened. We were told that Shawcross tried to phone and visit Ramsey on a few occasions and was denied access to him on every occasion. Again I can understand it as Ramsey was understandably feeling angry etc BUT what rankles with most of us (me included) is Ramsay has since said Shawcross didn't attempt to see him, to wish him well etc.
I guess it comes down to who you believe! Did Shawcross attempt to apologise or not? As a Stoke fan I side with Ryan as a Gooner you side with Aaron.
All I know is when the EXACT same injury happened to Rory Delap the year before and Rory publicly said he didn't blame the Sunderland player 'as these things happen' despite the challenge looking far far worse than Ryans did.
Its hardly Ramseys fault but when the clueless Welsh manager said he'd have to ask Ramseys permission to see if he could pick Shawcross for Wales it brought back all this ridiculous stuff again with Ramsey coming out with (what most Stoke fans assume is bulls***) this stuff about not having had an apology.
I guess some fans were fed up of hearing him playing the 'poor me' card and they decided to let him know on Sunday!"
