In his new role, Wong will be responsible for the regional development of HY Trading at VTB Capital.
Wong has extensive experience in trading and research in Asia. Before joining the VTB Capital team, he was the Head of Credit Trading at the Bank of China in Hong Kong and prior to that was responsible for Asia High Yield Trading at Morgan Stanley. He has also held various positions in the Asian divisions of major international investment banks such as JP Morgan Securities, Société Générale and Barclays Capital.
Wong will be based in Hong Kong and will report functionally to Ugo Calcagnini, Global Head of Credit Trading at VTB Capital and regionally to Damian Chunilal, CEO Asia for VTB Capital.
