This is a key appointment to VTB Capital’s Research Department, which is set to improve the company’s expertise in these two regions. He will be based in Dubai.
Tuzun has extensive work experience in Turkey and an excellent knowledge of the banking sector. Tuzun joins VTB Capital from Wood & Company, an Eastern European investment bank, in Turkey. Prior to that, he held top positions in the research departments at Credit Suisse, Citigroup and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Turkey. In his new role, Tuzun will report to Alexander Pukhaev and Dmitry Dmitriev, Global Co-Heads of Research at VTB Capital, and regionally to Makram Abboud, CEO Middle East & Africa for VTB Capital plc.
Tuzun graduated from Bilkent University in Ankara in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, and an MBA in 1999.
