Finance Rocks! is a charity fundraising event that raises money through rock concert 'battle of the bands' between finance firms (banks, fund managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, accountancy firms, etc).
Each band, representing a City firm, nominates a charity of their choice and through ticket sales and sponsorship they collectively raise money for the prize fund, which they battle out on stage to win.
Finance Rocks! is the latest addition to the hugely successful Law Rocks!, Pensions Rocks! and Construction Rocks! charity fundraising franchise and in keeping with these events the Finance Rocks! 2012 event will be held at the legendary 100 Club.
