Andy Townsend and Adrian Chiles slayed on Twitter

Whilst watching the Real Madrid vs Manchester City game on ITV it appeared quite apparent to me immediately at how, personally, annoying Andy Townsend was being on the commentary.

But hey what do I know this man is a former professional footballer and been commentating on football games for years, I am sure my opinion is not shared…then I went onto Twitter.

Andy Townsend was trending with the bulk of criticism coming from his overzealous ‘come on’ muttered rather loudly under his breath when Yaya Toure flew forward from centre midfield.
