Manchester City were toppled after a brave showing against Real Madrid last night, thanks to a late fightback and Cristiano Ronaldo winner.

For the watching public, the post-match was all about one man, Manchester City's Joe Hart, whose emotional post-game interview indicated a devastated individual.

He said: "You can't go 2-1 up with five minutes to go and lose the game. I can only blame myself."
