Spain's under-21 side demolished their Danish counterparts last night, in no small part thanks to the excellent goalscoring form of Rodrigo.
The Benfica striker netted four goals, netted a hat-trick by the 21st minute of the game.
The fifth was a penalty scored by Malaga wide man Isco, who himself has been linked to several English sides.
Rodrigo began his career with Real Madrid but with his path blocked by established stars, like Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia, in 2010 he joined Benfica.
Owen Coyle shrewdly then brought him to Bolton on loan, but as a teenager he found his opportunities limited and only scored a single goal.
Now 21, he has blossomed into a major talent. He forced his way into the Benfica first team, scoring 16 times.
This season he has scored four in six games for his club, alerting the attentions of both Arsenal and Liverpool, both on the lookout for a striker.
Last night will have had scouts of both clubs noticing, with his stunning performance against the Danes.
