So just who is Richmond Boakye?
Here are five facts about him...
1) Boakye is just 19 but he is already a full international for Ghana, scoring on his debut against China in August.
2) He was signed by Genoa back in 2008 after his Ghanaian club side participated in a tournament in Italy and he impressed scouts.
3) He scored on his Serie A debut, aged just 17, the first player from his country ever to do so.
4) He was snapped up by Juventus, who loaned him to Serie B side Sassuolo. He scored 12 goals last season, and back on loan there again, he has three in four matches so far in 2012/13.
5) He has a long-term contract until 2017, so United will not be able to snap him up like Juventus did to Paul Pogba this summer. He is valued at around £5 million.
