Javier Hernandez scored for Mexico last night in a 5-0 World Cup qualifying win over Guyana. However it was not before he missed his second penalty of the season, hitting the crossbar from the spot. Like against Wigan, he made up for it by scoring in the second half in a comprehensive win for the away side. You can watch the goal here.

Shinji Kagawa also played a key role in Japan's 1-0 win over France, instrumental in the sides' 88th minute winner at the Stade de France. He tried to play down the victory, adding it didn't mean anything as it was just a friendly, despite being happy with the win. Speaking in France, Kagawa also said that PSG were never a consideration for him, and even Barcelona or Real Madrid were never in his plans.
Both Ashley Young and Chris Smalling are being tipped to return to the United first team for their next Premier League clash against Stoke. Smalling has not played yet this season, while Young last featured against Fulham in August, but both are making excellent progress with their recoveries from injuries and are back in training.
