Felipe Caicedo was a young striker who arrived at Manchester City with a lot of potential, during the brief Thaksin Shinawatra ownership of the club.
It never quite worked out for him, and he found himself pushed aside under Mark Hughes' management, loaned out to Sporting Lisbon, Malaga, and more successfully Levante.
He currently plays his football in Russia for Lokomotiv Moscow, where he has been scoring at a rate of one every other game this season.
Last night he netted twice for Ecuador in a 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Chile. The victory takes them to third in the group.
