Last night saw the ugly face of racism rearing its abhorrent head once again as England under-21’s defeated their Serbian counter-parts. There has been a huge reaction to the incidents of Twitter in the aftermath with calls for FIFA to finally take more stringent action against Serbia, repeat offenders when it comes to the serious crime of racism. There was also rightful criticism for the unnecessary sending off of Danny Rose by Turkish referee Huseyin Gocek, who either completely misread the situation or used absolutely zero common sense.

That referee sending Danny Rose off for that. I hope he's chuffed with himself. And then I hope he's sacked.

On a serious note, the racist abuse in Serbia appeared to be at its most vile. If that was indeed the case FIFA must take strong action!

Its a disgrace the way the serbians have acted in the u21 game. Uefa will look into it and fine serbia virtually nothing. Its embarrassing
