#WaterloggedFootballers trends on Twitter in wake of Warsaw deluge

After England saw their World Cup qualifier with Poland postponed after a heavy downpour of rain, many took the news a little lighter then the incensed Roy Keane.

Some people saw some fun in the melee of yesterday’s England postponement as the hash tag #WaterloggedFootballers trended across the social networking site. We have a selection of our favourites.

So while nobody seemed ready to take brooms and forks to the pitch in Warsaw plenty of folk in Twitterdom took to the web to have a go at their very own #WaterloggedFootballers tags.
