Champions League Betting Tips

The Champions League returns this week with some mouth watering ties. Here are five win bets for you to put into your accumulator.

Barcelona to beat Celtic

This will be the banker bet in the eyes of many this week. Barcelona are two out of two so far in the Champions League and domestically they have three wins and one draw from four games. It would be a massive upset if Celtic got anything from this game and although the odds for a Barca win are short, placed in an accumulator could improve the value.

Manchester City to beat Ajax

Manchester City travel to Holland under massive pressure to get a result. City lost their first game away at Real Madrid and were lucky to get a draw against Borussia Dortmund in a match the German side should have easily won. If city don’t win this match then they can virtually wave goodbye to their chances of making the last 16 for the second season in a row.

Bayern Munich to beat Lille

Bayern Munich have not started the Champions League well. They have a win and a draw from two games so far in a group they were expected to dominate. They have conceded one more goal than they have scored leaving the side with a negative goal difference. Lille are rock bottom of the group with only one goal to their name. Bayern should have more than enough quality to win easily.

Chelsea to beat Shakhtar Donetsk

Chelsea will be looking for another win which will help them take a step closer towards defending their European title. They will not find it easy because Ukraine can be a difficult place to go and play football. However, they have a lot of experience in their side and they have looked like the best team in the Premier League so far this season. Chelsea have one win and one draw and are above their opponents on goal difference.

Malaga to beat AC Milan

Malaga have spent a lot of money to get to where they are but they have been superb in the Champions League so far with two wins from two, six goals scored and not a single goal conceded. They are two points above AC Milan and a win would put them in pole position of the group and favourites to be one of the first teams to qualify for the knock out stage of the tournament.
