It was a moment of sheer joy for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, as he saw striker Luis Suarez net his second and clinch a 3-2 win over Everton.
Except a linesman had other ideas. He ruled out the goal, meaning the game ended 2-2 and Gerrard was left feeling part-angry, part-sheepish.

For what it's worth, our view is the disallowed goal definitely should have stood. Liverpool fans should rightly feel a sense of injustice this morning.
