Chamakh

Marouane Chamakh netted twice for Arsenal in a simply amazing game of football last night.

Winning 7-5 against Reading, the events of last night were quite difficult to comprehend and take in as they happened. Most striking of all, outcast Marouane Chamakh scored twice.

The striker has been a forgotten man at the Emirates so far this season, but indicated last night that perhaps he still does have something to offer.

Here is how fans reacted on Twitter last night to the Moroccan's brace:

@totallyarsenal: Marouane Chamakh. Take a bow. Fantastic game from the Moroccan. Didn't always do the right thing but his work rate was second to none.

@vermaelen05: I would've subbed off Chamakh at half-time. Wenger didn't.#ArseneKnows

@raffers10: Who needs van Persie? We've got Chamakh! Don't think I'll be saying that on saturday, mind.

@therogue87: If Chamakh is the answer, what is the question?

@jakedanielwilde: Both of the goals from Chamakh were good, the second one was class.

@14dido: as i say today play with 2 strikers is good for Giroud and chamakhboth help each other and score may be we should change our strategy #Afc

@sharizamy93: Impossible become possible : Marouane Chamakh score!! Lol

@simon_says1982: Hope people get right behind Arshavin and Chamakh after tonight. Both made vital contributions. Bit of support for them and who knows?

@kingofarsenal: With Chamakh scoring twice, perhaps we'll get an extra £4 for him in January.

@limpar33: Chamakh looked disinterested for the past year, I hope that tonight makes him realise what he can do if he bothers.

@kimmy_arsenal: Chamakh's goal at the end was just class #amazing

@golamafc: WOW Chamakh scored more this season in one game, than the whole of last season!

Does Chamakh have a future at the Emirates?
