Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Andy Carroll links on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur were linked last night with a move for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll in January. What do fans make of it?

Wow. Now this would be quite a story. If true, and we have our doubts, Tottenham are readying an offer for Andy Carroll.

Just think about that for a moment. The Andy Carroll who cost £35 million in January 2010. He is currently on loan at West Ham, for who he is yet to score this season.

Yet the Mail claim Tottenham have identified him as the answer to their striking troubles. Have they given Damien Comolli his job back?

Although he is on loan at the Hammers, the paper maintain Liverpool are willing to cash in when the transfer window re-opens.
