So this guy, who has been identified in the media as a former Barclays trader (but we have been unable to confirm this), is said to have had it with noise as construction work had been going on outside his Singapore home for over 6 months.
His rant, during which he throws a sheet of zinc in the direction of construction workers, was captured on a mobile phone and has been doing the rounds virally:
Foul-mouth foreigner threatens workers and warns he will hunt down their families (the video link is just above the images).
The profanities have been bleeped out.
The Times has a part of the transcript:
'I’m gonna go after you. I’m gonna burn your f..cking house down'.
'You have no respect. You know what ? You’re f..cking animals. Chinese f..cking animals... I have a life. I have a family. You break that, I will find your f..cking family. I can find it very easily - I’m a man with resources'.
Once he realises that he is being filmed, the former trader shouts:
'You’re filming me ? You think that’s good ? Put your f..cking phone down because I’m going to wait for you to come out and take that phone and shove it up your f..cking ass'.
Singapore police are now thought to be investigating the matter.
