The Sohn Foundation was started over 17 years ago in the US after Ira Sohn, an extremely talented and well-liked Wall Street professional, tragically passed away from cancer at the age of 29. Since then, the Foundation has raised $25 million for paediatric cancer care and research. For its first event, The Sohn Foundation London is partnering with Great Ormond Street Hospital, a world leading paediatric cancer centre.
Evan Sohn, the Sohn Foundation's Founder, said: 'Bringing our conference series to London is a very exciting development for the Sohn Foundation, as we seek to make a meaningful contribution to the global fight against paediatric cancer. We believe that investment professionals in London will be exceptionally receptive to the concept of bringing together some of the most well-known and respected names in the industry, in support of paediatric cancer care and research'.
