Adam Morgan was among the goals last night as Liverpool conquered previously unbeaten Norwegian outfit Rosenborg BK 4-1 to remain in contention in NextGen Series Group 5. Lloyd Jones was also on the score sheet while a five minute cameo for Jerome Sinclair saw him also find the back of the net in clinical fashion.
The NextGen side has struggled so far in the competition as Brendan Rodgers has been keen to utilise some of the young talent in the first team such as Raheem Sterling, Andre Wisdom, Suso, Conor Coady and two of last night’s scorers.
Here is what was said on Twitter about the hopes for two of Liverpool's brightest attacking talents.
Great win for Liverpool tonight in the @nextgenseries - Adam Morgan is a goal machine!!

Morgan and Sinclair both score for Liverpool's @nextgenseries side. Wonder if either will make it in the 1st team. ibtimes.co.uk/articles/40484… #LFC
